Brett Saguid

Head Brewer

I was born and raised in Hawaii and lived there until 2010 when I moved with my family to Spokane, Washington. It was a major change for me and my two beautiful, young daughters, but in the Northwest I discovered I was able to exercise the same passions I had back home. My love for the Hawaiian culture, the ocean, surfing, diving, fishing and paddling has grown to include hiking, camping, backcountry winter snowboard adventures and most of all, stand up paddling (SUP). It was at a local SUP race on Lake Coeur d’Alene in 2012 where I first met Joe and Heather Threadgill. From that first day we hit it off and our friendship has grown—today we’re like family. I was honored by the opportunity to help Heather brew her kombucha and it has been exciting to witness her little project grow into a full-fledged, fun, and successful business. I’m looking forward to making many more wonderful memories as Bare Culture continues to emerge as a household name! Aloha
